I've always had the tendency to doodle especially when I've been at meetings or on courses. Mostly the resulting pictures were complete rubbish but a few have amused others.
During 1982 and 1983 I went on a TOPS course in electronic servicing at Chelmsford Skillcentre (TOPS stood for Training Opportunities Scheme - one of those government-sponsored schemes to get people trained up in some skill while paying them a substistence wage). There, I created the character Terry The Turd which others on the course seemed to find funny. Some would not be considered at all PC nowadays!
