ConclusionReview: Konica Minolta Z3 Digital CameraPower consumption appears good - I took around 150 pictures on a first (and hardly full) charge of the rechargeable batteries and that session also included viewing the shots several times on the TV (an AV lead is supplied) as standard. PC connection is simple, just plug in the USB cable, turn on the camera and the camera's memory card appears as a new disk drive. Disadvantages? Well, arguably, the picture quality possibly isn't quite up to that of the equivalent Canon models, though it's a close run thing - and here I am only making comparisons between images posted on other web sites (see below). Also, the Z3 only stores its images in JPeg formatted files - there is no raw or TIFF option which may put off the real enthusiast though, for every day use, JPeg is more than adequate. So, in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. The pictures obtained are far clearer and detailed than the old, trusty C30 (which is only to be expected considering the resolution difference). The camera feels positive in use with controls that are simple to operate. In conclusion, a good buy! Some links:
